“Tower day”

Today featured two towers, one in Busan and one in Seoul, so Rob called this day “Tower day”. We started out at Dongbaekseom, it’s a popular waterfront walking/running route and is the home of APEC House which was purpose built for the 2-day meeting in 2005 (Helen Clark attended for NZ) and other than for tourists to visit, it has not been used since! Seems a real waste as it’s the most beautiful spot!

We had time for a quick wade in the water at Haeundae Beach which was the perfect temperature and I really wished I had my togs with me!

Then it was time for our first tower, Busan Tower. It was the perfect day to check out the views of South Korea’s second biggest city and largest port.

Next, we took the bullet train back to Seoul. Then it was time for tower number two,
N Seoul Tower, unfortunately the visibility wasn’t great, so we didn’t opt to head up to the observatory.

And we ended the day with Korean BBQ!
